About Kevin Musikanth
Kevin has coached numerous teams in South Africa and is currently the technical director and head coach of the Israel National rugby program, a team proudly sponsored by Provacan.
Kevin has shared his understanding of the game by co-authoring a book with famous South African personalities International referee Jonathan Kaplan and Professor Tim Noakes who are both best selling South African Authors. The book is titled Always Believe In Magic and is the inspiring story behind the UCT Ikey Tigers journey to the 2014 Varsity Cup that led to arguably the greatest comeback ever.
“Other than being the coach of Israeli national rugby team, the most prominent moment in my coaching career was guiding UCT (the University of Cape Town) to Varsity Cup glory in 2014 as one of the bottom seeded teams in the competition. We won the final in front of a packed stadium in a match that was labelled one of the greatest sporting comebacks of all time.”

As a coach, and especially in a sport like Rugby, we see the body go through rigorous training that takes a massive toll on the body. As a coach many other issues are seen ranging from sleep, stress and anxiety.
By teaming up with people that have direct experience with these problems and seeing a huge potential role for CBD, CiiTECH can research and develop the potential of the hemp plant in tackling these issues in sports and beyond.
“I have been involved in sports my whole life and love being active, coupled with the fact that I spent years playing contact sports, in particular rugby, my body has some “injuries” that I simply have to live with. Traditional medication for pain or injuries whether acute or chronic come with significant side effects, I find that CBD is a great support for me for relieving minor symptoms without the side effect. In particular the balms and drops. I believe that CBD has an extremely promising future and am excited to be a part of CiiTECH that is reinvesting it’s profits back into research.” says Kevin.
